Dualsky XM2838EG-7, 1800KV

An out-runner motor designed specifically for electric gliders. 

A longer stator and a higher wind count results in a motor that has the torque to spin the larger propellers generally found on electric gliders.

This motor will best fit an electric glider that has some room in the nose. The motor wires will need clearance between the fuselage wall and the motor bell. If your glider has a slender nose, have a look at DualSky’s long-shaft motors also found in this category.

Like all of DualSky’s products these motors are very well machined, have tight windings, tight magnetic tolerances and use quality components throughout.

DualSky has chosen to use a locking collar instead of an e-clip to retain the motor bell and shaft. They believe that machining an e-clip groove into the motor shaft would weaken it. The locking collar can be removed if there is a need for more exposed motor shaft for the propeller collet.
